target inflation through forex. rewards: foreign currency reserves.

A lesson I learned from thinking about small island nations has me thinking towards its scalability in larger countries. The idea is to steady a country’s currency in the forex market through open market operations. But why?
It is not uncommon to see a forex pair go up and down 0.1% within a few hours. 0.1% can account for millions of dollars in the red when trading billions in a trading day. That is why a steady forex pair can attract more importeexporters, especially since currency pairs are measured in micro pips. But there is more.
If a trader is willing to accept a 0.1% loss in a day, that accounts for more than 30% a year. That means if a forex currency were to be very steady, in order to attract traders, it could afford to steadily inflate at 15% a year continuously, and still be twice as attractive as a currency that fluctuates at 0.1% a day.
Hence, a country that inflates its currency at 15% a year across all currency pairs, can achieve reserves of other country’s currencies at a rate of 15% a year. That is, because all outstanding currencies will depreciate due to inflation continuously, so less is owed in return. The fact that it is continuous inflation means that even if the currency is only held for a moment, that money will undergo some sort of depreciation. If trillions of dollars in yen are exchanged a year, that could be a profit of 150 billion dollars (15% of 1 trillion dollars).
However there is a minor set-back. To keep the currency’s inflation at 15%, part of the money that is earned would have to be exchanged back in order to keep the currency steady at a 15% annual inflation. Furthermore, expect inflation in the country to reach 15% as well, because extra printed money will be pumped in through exports. After all, the Big Mac Index will trend to a currency’s exchange rate in the long run.
This is, because exports will bring in extra cash until CPI reaches a 15% increase, which in turn will make the exchange pair inflate until currency will need to be traded back across the index to keep the value in the forex exchange.
Therefore, it is better to use a more realistic inflation target such as 3% rather than the 15% example used above. That is, because inflation in a country (CPI) cannot go too high or it will discourage institutions from holding it in reserves. But the good news is that inflation (CPI) is directly correlated to higher GDP. That is, because of the laws of supply and demand; when more goods are sold, prices tend to be higher.

My Story

Hello everyone Im a longtime lurker and decide to post my story on my second account. Im 21 (m) and just like most of the people on this sub I’m a also virgin but I don’t see myself as a loser because of that. I have been offered by people to lose my card but I choose to reject their offer because of age or because I ain’t feeling it from the person offering it. Idk I’m the type of person that wants to have an emotional connection with someone rather than a sexual one.
Alright, So I come from an Hispanic Immigrant Family and I am part of the first generation to be born in the United States and first to go to college from my family (including cousins). And before I was born my destiny was set in stone as I would have the responsibility to carry my family out of poverty and into the lime light. With this my happiness was pushed aside and I was pushed to become a great student so our future would look bright but unfortunately along the way my knees buckled along the way as I was moving towards that goal.
So I guess I should explain my situation which all starts with my family situation. My parents are people who were too immature and not ready to have kids and unfortunately I was the first and that meant I was the test subject for them. Now I don’t hate myself or anything in general really but I hate my Dad in fact I hate my own name because it reminds me of him (I’m jr he’s sr) and I hate that because he was the cause for so much physical abuse and I’m not talking about the stereotypical sandal moment, I’m talking about getting a toy firetruck smashed on your head. Meanwhile on the other side I was subject to emotional abuse from my mom which was due to the shitty relationship they had and I was the stress outlet for both of them.
People do grow though and change along the way but I’m just too detached to them that I don’t want reconcile or continue to move forward with them. As said before I was the test subjest because by the second they improved and by the third they cracked the puzzle and finally succeeded at parenting. The thing is I am kinda jealous of my brother and sister on how they were treated and how they were able to relax and nothing was really expected of them. Which in turn has made detached from them because I have nothing in common with them but being born from the same person. Nor do I expected them to help with what was thrusted upon me one thinks shes hard and the other is lazy and cant read at all despite being in 8th grade. But besides that fact in all honesty I don’t see them as family but more as people I just live with. With my family situation in the gutter it basically set the foundation for the state of my mental health.
My mental health started becoming apparent in high school around sophomore year when I started to suffer from a lack of motivation when it came to moving forward with my life. It eventually escalated as time went on and it got was worse especially after high school. Because after high school I started getting some of my old memories pop up randomly and they were all about how I was treated as kid. None of them were pleasant memories such as the firetruck incident and all the physical and emotional abuse from my past. Which in turn brought me to an existential crisis as I questioned what I was working towards and this is where my knees started buckling and succumbed to the weight of the stress and responsibility thrusted upon me without my consent and I was left wondering why am I fighting for people I never really cared about or had my best interest. So while I was dealing with all this I was trying to deal with my depression which was by focusing on something no matter how small it was.
Which brings me to the light at the end of the tunnel which was Wrestling and I fell in love the moment I saw it for the first time because of the story telling aspect of it. I never understood someone’s passion for being an accountant, a manager or etc until I compared to my love for wrestling. Not only that but I don’t see it as just a sport but as a way out because it was the only thing that was able to keep me going. No matter how far I go back wrestling was always a part of my fun childhood moments unfortunately. Wether it be playing with my friends, or watching it on tv.
As time went on I even eventually got tired of watching it and wanted to be apart of it and wanted to make a career but their is no money to be made when starting out. So I gave up and decided to go to school and I am currently one year and a half from graduating but I just couldn’t take it anymore, because I wasn’t able to get internships and it wasn’t something I could see myself doing for the rest of my life. So on News Years some shit went down and I decided that 2020 would be the year that I would be happy by taking the steps necessary to focus on wrestling but unfortunately Covid hit so I couldn’t pursue that and eventually I stopped working out and just let everything go and pass me by as I shut myself in my room and only go out to work. Which leads to where I am now.
But before that I kept on mentioning an event that happened on News Years and that was where we went to visit my cousins in arizona and from their we went to Flagstaff where it snows and I was at awe because I just love the snow since I’m from California I don’t get too see much of it. Along the way back my mom was complaining the whole time as she wanted to go back home instead of Flagstaff and kept at it for the whole trip including insults and stuff about our cousins. It got bad to a point where I just wanted to jump out the car but since I was driving I didn’t want to take anyone’s else’s life with me nor did I want to cause a car crash as I was on the freeway. We went to eat later that day and she just kept at it and while I was their I went to the bathroom and broke down as I was praying for someone to save me and looking for a way to end my life. Instead of that I gave myself an ultimatum and that was if I don’t change my position in life by the end of 2020 I would unfortunately bite the bullet because I just need a Way Out of this place/situation I’m in.
I’m doing this ultimatum because I’m hoping it will motivate me to continue moving forward. Its currently august and I have payed of my debts, dropped out of school (hated my major), quit my job and got another one (thinking about quitting my new job), and I picked up forex in hopes of making money that way. With 4 months left on my ultimatum it seems like I haven’t done much but it’s whatever.
The thing is people have the impression that if you talk about your problems you will magically be saved but I could talk to someone about my problems for days but the thing is I don’t need to talk about my problems what I need is a way out of my current position in life and I have thought about spending a month in Japan just exploring and spending my last month alive their but Covid unfortunately came along and ruined what hope I did have if I were able to describe my situation in a song it would be the song Maze by Juice WRLD and the song Come back to Earth by Mac Miller.
The things is if I die I’m gonna miss trivial things like not being able to see the ending of Attack on Titan, Solo Leveling, My Hero Academia, Wings, McDonalds, In-n-out, Pizza, Food/Anime/Wrestling in general, the new music I’m gonna miss or even seeing what path my little cousin is going to take as he grows up. And Depending on what I choose to do moving forward I will try to update you guys with my progress and if I don’t then I guess I bite the bullet. Anyways thanks for reading my story feels more like a Memoir but I just wanted to get this of my chest.
SideNote: Also sorry for it being so long but this is just the surface theirs actually a lot more I could go into detail but I went on long on enough.

The Henry Jackson Initiative by Lady Forester

While reasearching Epstein's known associates, an interesting individual stood out. Lynn Forester de Rothschild, Lady de Rothschild. No intention of this being a Rothschild Conspiracy. If your are uninterested to read the content below, scroll down to Comment to get my summary and take on this information. As always please Fact check this.
(HJI) is a bi-partisan, transatlantic movement of business leaders, senior policy makers and academics focused on promoting a more Inclusive Capitalism. The HJI calls for international collaboration from businesses and other organizations to encourage the widest possible adoption of programs that improve capitalism as a driver of wellbeing for society.
The HJI grew out of the Task Force project For Inclusive Capitalism, which sought solutions to the effects on society and business as a result of the global financial crisis of 2007 – 2008 and the dislocations caused by capitalism’s practice over the past 30 years. The Taskforce, which was co-chaired by Dominic Barton, Global Managing Director, McKinsey & Company, and Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, CEO, El Rothschild, published its inaugural paper Towards a More Inclusive Capitalism in May 2012. The report sets out three pathways for business action that lie at the heart of the HJI’s mandate:
  1. Education for employment: addressing the gap between employer needs and employee skills
  2. Nurture start-ups and SMEs: mentoring small businesses and improving access to credit for them
  3. Reform management and governance for the long term: replacing today’s focus on short term performance
The HJI exists to highlight and support businesses and other organizations working to promote the broadest possible adoption of best practices in these and other areas related to Inclusive Capitalism. The HJI believes there is an urgent and compelling demand for business to act to address the greatest systemic issues facing capitalism today. The HJI also believes that business is best positioned to lead innovations in areas that need them the most.

WHO WAS HENRY JACKSON?

Henry Martin "Scoop" Jackson (May 31, 1912 – September 1, 1983) was an American politician who served as a U.S. Representative (1941–1953) and U.S. Senator (1953–1983) from the state of Washington). A Cold War liberal and anti-Communist Democrat), Jackson supported higher military spending and a hard line against the Soviet Union, while also supporting social welfare programs, civil rights, and labor unions.
Jackson was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously in 1984; Ronald Reagan called him "one of the greatest lawmakers of our century," and stated:
Scoop Jackson was convinced that there's no place for partisanship in foreign and defense policy. He used to say, 'In matters of national security, the best politics is no politics.' His sense of bipartisanship was not only natural and complete; it was courageous. He wanted to be President, but I think he must have known that his outspoken ideas on the security of the Nation would deprive him of the chance to be his party's nominee in 1972 and '76. Still, he would not cut his convictions to fit the prevailing style. I'm deeply proud, as he would have been, to have Jackson Democrats serve in my administration. I'm proud that some of them have found a home here.

Criticism

Jackson was known as a hawkish Democrat. He was often criticized for his support for the Vietnam War and his close ties to the defense industries of his state. His proposal of Fort Lawton as a site for an anti-ballistic missile system was strongly opposed by local residents, and Jackson was forced to modify his position on the location of the site several times, but continued to support ABM development. American Indian rights activists who protested Jackson's plan to give Fort Lawton to Seattle, instead of returning it to local tribes, staged a sit-in. In the eventual compromise, most of Fort Lawton became Discovery Park), with 20 acres (8.1 ha) leased to United Indians of All Tribes, who opened the Daybreak Star Cultural Center there in 1977.
Opponents derided him as "the Senator from Boeing" and a "whore for Boeing" because of his consistent support for additional military spending on weapons systems and accusations of wrongful contributions from the company; in 1965, 80% of Boeing's contracts were military. Jackson and Magnuson's campaigning for an expensive government supersonic transport plane project eventually failed.
After his death, critics pointed to Jackson's support for Japanese American internment camps during World War II as a reason to protest the placement of his bust at the University of Washington.Jackson was both an enthusiastic defender of the evacuation and a staunch proponent of the campaign to keep the Japanese-Americans from returning to the Pacific Coast after the war.

Jackson Papers controversy

Senator Jackson's documents were donated to the University of Washington shortly after his death in 1983, and have been archived there ever since. When the materials were donated in 1983, university staff removed all information considered classified at the time.Additional materials were added to the collection until 1995.
At some point, library staff discovered a classified document in the collection and sent it to the government for declassification. In response, in the summer of 2004, a man who identified himself as an employee of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) called the University of Washington asking to inspect Senator Jackson's archived documents housed there. He found a document labelled as classified and showed this to a librarian.[48] In February 2005, 22 years after Jackson's death, a five-person team including staff of the CIA, Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, and the Information Security Oversight Office came to library to review all of Jackson's papers to remove anything still considered classified, or reclassified since then. The Department of Energy found nothing of concern, but the CIA blanked lines in about 20 papers and pulled 8 documents out of collection. As of 2018, some files in the collection are available only to those regarded by the library as "serious researchers", who must first sign a release not to divulge some of the information contained in the files.

The Henry Jackson Society

The society was founded on 11 March 2005 by academics and students at Cambridge, including Brendan Simms, Alan Mendoza, Gideon Mailer, James Rogers and Matthew Jamison. It organises meetings with speakers in the House of Commons. The society claims that it advocates an interventionist) foreign-policy that promotes human rights and reduces suffering, by both non-military and military methods, when appropriate.
In 2006, the society worked to raise the profile of the Ahwazi Arabs of Iran, who it claims are currently being oppressed by the Iranian government.
After originating within the University of Cambridge, the organisation is now based in London. In April 2011 the entire staff of another London think-tank, the Centre for Social Cohesion (which has since been dissolved), joined the Henry Jackson Society.
The organisation is a registered charity in England and Wales and earns financial backing from private donations and grant-making organisations which support its work. The income of the society increased significantly from 2009 to 2014, from £98,000 to £1.6 million per year.
In 2017 Hannah Stuart, one of the society's Research Fellows, released Islamist Terrorism: Analysis of Offences and Attacks in the UK (1998–2015), which profiled every individual convicted under terrorism legislation in the UK between those dates with an Islamist connection.

Structure and projects

The Society has produced a breadth of research reports and papers. These have mostly focused on Islamist extremist activity in the UK, crackdowns on human rights and democracy elsewhere, and various facets of foreign policy and defence. Its current workstreams include:
In September 2018, the Society announced the creation of a new Centre for Social and Political Risk. This Centre will "identify, diagnose and propose solutions to threats to governance in liberal Western democracies", focusing on social cohesion and integration; freedom of speech and political correctness; demographic change; and other issues.

Criticism

The think tank has been described by the media as having right-wing and neoconservative leanings, though it positions itself as non-partisan.In 2014, Nafeez Ahmed, an executive director of the Institute for Policy Research & Development, said that the Henry Jackson Society courts corporate, political power to advance a distinctly illiberal oil and gas agenda in the Middle East.
In 2009 the society became the secretariat of two all-party parliamentary groups (APPGs), for Transatlantic and International Security, chaired by Gisela Stuart, and for Homeland Security, chaired by Bernard Jenkin. A transparency requirement upon non-profit organisations acting as secretariat at that time was that they must reveal, on request, any corporate donors who gave £5,000 or more to the organisation over the past year or cease acting as a secretariat organisation. In 2014, following a query, the society refused to disclose this information and resigned its position as secretariat of the APPGs concerned in order to comply with the Rules. The Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards, Kathryn Hudson, upheld a complaint against these APPGs on the grounds data had not been provided, but noted the society had already resigned its position and that the consequence of this non-provision therefore "appears to have taken effect" as the Rules intended. The case was therefore closed with no further action taken and the APPGs themselves dissolved with the dissolution of Parliament in March 2015. The APPG Rules were subsequently changed in March 2015 so that only those non-profit organisations providing services to APPGs of more than £12,500 in value needed to declare their corporate donors.
In July 2014 the Henry Jackson Society was sued by Lady de Rothschild over funds of a "caring capitalism" summit. Lady de Rothschild claims that she has financed the summit and that HJS and its executive director Alan Mendoza are holding £137,000 of “surplus funds” from the conference that should be returned to the couple’s investment company EL Rothschild.
Think tank discussions on the Middle East and Islam have led some media organisations to criticise a perceived anti-Muslim agenda. Marko Attila Hoare, a former senior member, cited related reasons for leaving the think tank and Scottish Labour leader Jim Murphy was urged, in 2015, to sever his links with the society.
According to the report published in 2015, "a right-wing politics is apparent not only in the ideas that the Henry Jackson Society promotes, but also emerges distinctly on examination of its funders."
In 2017, the Henry Jackson Society was accused of running an anti-China propaganda campaign after the Japanese embassy gave them a monthly fee of 10,000 pounds. The campaign was said to be aimed at planting Japan's concerns about China in British newspapers.
Co-founder Matthew Jamison wrote in 2017 that he was ashamed of his involvement, having never imagined the Henry Jackson Society "would become a far-right, deeply anti-Muslim racist [...] propaganda outfit to smear other cultures, religions and ethnic groups." "The HJS for many years has relentlessly demonised Muslims and Islam."
In January 2019, Nikita Malik of the Henry Jackson Society provided The Daily Telegraph with information they claimed showed a Muslim scout leader was linked to Islamic extremists and Holocaust deniers. In January 2020 The Daily Telegraph issued a retraction and formal apology saying that:
"the articles said that Ahammed Hussain had links to extremist Muslim Groups that promoted terrorism and anti-Semitism, and could have suggested that he supported those views and encouraged their dissemination. We now accept that this was wrong and that Mr Hussain has never supported or promoted terrorism, or been anti-Semitic.We acted in good faith on information received but we now accept that the article is defamatory of Mr Hussain and false, and apologise for the distress caused to him in publishing it. We have agreed to pay him damages and costs."
The initial signatories of the statement of principles included:
International patrons included Richard Perle, William Kristol, former CIA Director R. James Woolsey Jr., and former Lithuanian leader Vytautas Landsbergis.

Comments

This has been a rabbit hole and only half the story regarding Lady Forester. Then only link between Lady Forester and Jeffrey Epstein is In 1995, financier Lynn Forester discussed "Jeffrey Epstein and currency stabilization" with Clinton. Epstein, according to his own accounts, was heavily involved in the foreign exchange market and traded large amounts of currency in the unregulated forex market. I will post another story Lady Forester and the coalition for Inclusive Capitalism.

Platform to trade on a Chromebook

Good day to you all!
So I bought a Chromebook since my laptop got demolished and I stupidly didn't think it through that it's not a window/mac so I can't run most forex platforms (I think, someone please enlighten me if I can).
So far my options are the Android apps of mt4/CTRADER and the Web versions.
I used to use mt4. Is the Android app similar? To me it seems quite similar just a bit slower.
Anyone trade on a Chromebook, use a Web trader, or use a Android app to trade with?
Thanks, happy trading.

The IQ.cash project team has already developed for their investors the IQ Masternode network that they use. Also, the IQ coin is presented on such well-known exchanges as HitBTC, BitHumb Glogal, P2PB2B, CoinsBit, BitForex, CREX24 and Mercatox. Therefore, traders can easily trade it! If an investor has more than 3000 IQ on his balance sheet, then he can receive passive income 57% of the block, miners, in turn, receive 43% of the block. We still have 6%, which are reserved for DAO (decentralized autonomous organizations), that is, they are used to invest, for example, in ICO projects, websites, trading bots, and improving the entire IQ ecosystem . cash and so on. All of these unique features can help make the IQ.cash platform popular around the world. You may come to this article to find out about the massive passive income, but worth noting that you should know what it is about. Think about it, investing money to something vague is very risky. Thus, what is IQ cash? To make it brief, this is another cryptocurrency that has quite clear and potential income. One thing that makes this digital money gain quite a lot of participants in the available wallets. Not a real physical wallet, but one to store all your cryptocurrency. In this case, the wallet is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac. You can choose one that fits with the equipment you have. Along with that, you can install the masternode on your home pc or Linux VPS. Your masternode will just do the earning rewards, without all the other extra features. If you want to install, you can use PC running windows Mac or even Linux. However, on VPS you have to use Linux with Ubuntu 16.04 version. Other than that, there are some requirements you have to fulfill. The first one is having a 3000 IQ or more on balance. Even 3001 coin is acceptable. Then, use only one PC for dedicated IP-address and also a 24/7 network connectivity (network loos less than 30 – 60 mins) without any interrupted operating system. Security - it is the most considered aspect of investment, as we know that investing in cyberspace is very risky. Therefore, IQ.Cash presents the security of investor accounts, where all accounts cannot be blocked and, most importantly, account funds can only be accessed by the account holder. Masternodes - how do we know IQ. Cash uses the PoW consensus algorithm that supports the Masternode system. this certainly adds to the intrinsic value of this project, which economically can add a value of approximately 43% and indirectly increases passive income by around 57% for all participants in the masternode. Masternode provides network integrity. Transaction anonymity and transaction speed. Of course, to run a masternode system, everyone can only invest 3000 IQ and then immediately enjoy the results obtained with this IQ.Cash masternode feature. Anonymity of the transaction - this is more about the privacy of the transaction itself. where users can completely trust the system. and you don’t have to worry about data access by irresponsible parties. because the system automatically encrypts data when transferring and receiving assets

https://preview.redd.it/7k0i4s47hdx41.png?width=640&format=png&auto=webp&s=cc9b5ced02917e1549e9b963805785df93b332d2
The IQ.cash platform operates on the basis of the POW consensus with support for a system such as MASTERNODE. And this is very cool, since this system makes the project more interesting and attractive for crypto enthusiasts. Indeed, thanks to the MASTERNODE system, miners receive 43% from mining, and people who own MASTERNODE receive a passive income of 57%. MASTERNODE supports the network, i.e. data privacy, transaction anonymity and speed, and much more. To become the owner of MASTERNODE you need to have more than 3000 IQ on your balance sheet. Anonymity. Transaction anonymity is provided by the PrivateSend algorithm. Users can feel safe and not worry about their assets. Since this system perfectly encrypts data. Therefore, you can safely send and receive any crypto assets. ASIC RESISTANCE. This technology is struggling with such a serious problem as a significant acceleration in the growth of network complexity. IQ network . cash works on the basis of the NeoScrypt algorithm, which is struggling with this problem. High transaction speed. Such an instant transaction speed, because the InstantSend algorithm works. Just think about it, the transaction speed is only about five seconds. Absolute decentralization. Affect both participants and crypto assets of the IQ network . cash no one can. Because everything will be safe, reliable and transparent.
Only requires a transaction speed of only about 5 seconds / transaction. And all transactions are done instantly, so this will provide a very efficient way of working for the users later. more and more projects have started to appear, whose actions are directed to one of the niches of our daily activities. This is excellent, we have been waiting for this for many years, but at the moment, strange as it may seem, projects aimed exclusively at the crypto industry have become a minor order of magnitude. It was simply impossible to take it. And now a project has appeared on the horizon that positions its activities exclusively as a useful product for mining companies, investors and even traders. As it turned out, the team has a work product, whose currency is traded on many major exchanges. That's good luck, I smiled and started to study the IQ.cash project and its capabilities. Go back to the main interface and choose a personal tab (bottom right corner). Then, move to the next phase by choosing the Fee & Payment tab. You will see fee balance, FLS, BTC fee deposit address, and other information. In here, copy the IQ.cash wallet address in the FLS address tab. To move on to the next stages, you should have bought the required number of IQ cash (3000 IQ cash) beforehand. You can buy the IQ cash masternode from the official sites.

If an investor has more than 3000 IQ on his balance sheet, then he can receive passive income 57% of the block, miners, in turn, receive 43% of the block. We still have 6%, which are reserved for DAO (decentralized autonomous organizations), that is, they are used to invest, for example, in ICO projects, websites, trading bots, and improving the entire IQ ecosystem. cash and so on. All of these unique features can help make the IQ.cash platform popular around the world.

Why do people use IQ.cash ?

  • High security
The user's personal account is well protected, and no one can block it. Nobody can get access to funds, only the owner can dispose of them.
  • MASTERNODE
The IQ.cash platform operates on the basis of the POW consensus with support for a system such as MASTERNODE. And this is very cool, since this system makes the project more interesting and attractive for crypto enthusiasts. Indeed, thanks to the MASTERNODE system, miners receive 43% from mining, and people who own MASTERNODE receive a passive income of 57%. MASTERNODE supports the network, ie data privacy, transaction anonymity and speed, and much more. To become the owner of MASTERNODE you need to have more than 3000 IQ on your balance sheet.
  • Anonymity
Transaction anonymity is provided by the PrivateSend algorithm. Users can feel safe and not worry about their assets. Since this system perfectly encrypts data. Therefore, you can safely send and receive any crypto assets.

  • ASIC RESISTANCE
This technology is struggling with such a serious problem as a significant acceleration in the growth of network complexity. IQ network. cash works on the basis of the NeoScrypt algorithm, which is struggling with this problem.
  • High transaction speed
Such an instant transaction speed, because the InstantSend algorithm works. Just think about it, the transaction speed is only about five seconds.
  • Absolute decentralization
Affect both participants and crypto assets of the IQ network. cash no one can. Because everything will be safe, reliable and transparent.

About Masternode

About passive income, I wrote above. Therefore, here I will simply sign what needs to be done to be in Masternode. Install a wallet. Top up your balance with just over 3000 IQ. In this case, you must have a dedicated IP address and also that the network worked 24 hours a day. And you begin to receive passive income.

About Wallets

The wallet can be downloaded for windows, linux, MAC.

Conclusion

IQ project. cash is very very promising. Now he is on everyone’s ears. I think who knows what masternodes are, they should be interested in this project. In addition, their coin is traded on many exchanges and this already says a lot.

Personal Experience: Change brokerage from RBC&TD to interactive broker

I just want to share my personal experience change brokerage from RBC&TD to interactive broker since late 2019. I found interactive broker much better than TD/RBC for my US equity investment. I invest predominantly in US stocks, including Canadian companies dual listed in NYSE/NASDAQ.
Some of the big Pros:
  1. Very low commission compared to RBC/TD. 1USD for fixed pricing, 0.35 for tired pricing.
  2. Participation in pre-market and after-market. This help me to fill my aggressive limit order.
  3. USD/CAD forex is 2USD, even cheaper than Nombert Gambit.
  4. Fractional shares allow me to invest in Google/Amazon/Tesla in a more reasonable pace.(buy 500 dollars for four times vs buy 2000 at one time)
Some Cons:
  1. They have several platforms which is very confusing. TWS is most powerful but look ugly on Mac. Client portal is nice looking but function-lacking. I actually found IBKR IOS to be powerful but also nice looking, so end up mostly use IBKR IOS.
  2. Be careful using EFT deposit. There is a 60 business day holding period if withdrawal to a different bank.
  3. One might need to spend some time research on their fee structure, deposit/withdrawal procedure.
I have ignored IB for years due to it being an American brokerage and do not have physical locations. Finally tried it and now think it is the best for US equity investment in Canada. Hopefully if we move more investment to online brokerage such as Questrade/IB/Wealthsimple, eventually will shake the big 5 and force them to lower their ridiculous commission.(It is still nice to have one of the big 5 for some portfolio.)

Looking back 18 months.

I was going through old emails today and came across this one I sent out to family on January 4, 2018. It was a reflection on the 2017 crypto bull market and where I saw it heading, as well as some general advice on crypto, investment, and being safe about how you handle yourself in cryptoland.
I feel that we are on the cusp of a new bull market right now, so I thought that I would put this out for at least a few people to see *before* the next bull run, not after. While the details have changed, I don't see a thing in this email that I fundamentally wouldn't say again, although I'd also probably insist that people get a Yubikey and use that for all 2FA where it is supported.
Happy reading, and sorry for some of the formatting weirdness -- I cleaned it up pretty well from the original email formatting, but I love lists and indents and Reddit has limitations... :-/
Also, don't laught at my token picks from January 2018! It was a long time ago and (luckliy) I took my own advice about moving a bunch into USD shortly after I sent this. I didn't hit the top, and I came back in too early in the summer of 2018, but I got lucky in many respects.
----------------------------------------------------------------------- Jan-4, 2018
Hey all!
I woke up this morning to ETH at a solid $1000 and decided to put some thoughts together on what I think crypto has done and what I think it will do. *******, if you could share this to your kids I’d appreciate it -- I don’t have e-mail addresses, and it’s a bit unwieldy for FB Messenger… Hopefully they’ll at least find it thought-provoking. If not, they can use it as further evidence that I’m a nutjob. 😉
Some history before I head into the future.
I first mined some BTC in 2011 or 2012 (Can’t remember exactly, but it was around the Christmas holidays when I started because I had time off from work to get it set up and running.) I kept it up through the start of summer in 2012, but stopped because it made my PC run hot and as it was no longer winter, ********** didn’t appreciate the sound of the fans blowing that hot air into the room any more. I’ve always said that the first BTC I mined was at $1, but looking back at it now, that’s not true – It was around $2. Here’s a link to BTC price history.
In the summer of 2013 I got a new PC and moved my programs and files over before scrapping the old one. I hadn’t touched my BTC mining folder for a year then, and I didn’t even think about salvaging those wallet files. They are now gone forever, including the 9-10BTC that were in them. While I can intellectually justify the loss, it was sloppy and underlines a key thing about cryptocurrency that I believe will limit its widespread adoption by the general public until it is addressed and solved: In cryptoland, you are your own bank, and if you lose your password or account number, there is no person or organization that can help you reset it so that you can get access back. Your money is gone forever.
On April 12, 2014 I bought my first BTC through Coinbase. BTC had spiked to $1000 and been in the news, at least in Japan. This made me remember my old wallet and freak out for a couple of months trying to find it and reclaim the coins. I then FOMO’d (Fear Of Missing Out”) and bought $100 worth of BTC. I was actually very lucky in my timing and bought at around $430. Even so, except for a brief 50% swing up almost immediately afterwards that made me check prices 5 times a day, BTC fell below my purchase price by the end of September and I didn’t get back to even until the end of 2015.
In May 2015 I bought my first ETH at around $1. I sent some guy on bitcointalk ~$100 worth of BTC and he sent me 100 ETH – all on trust because the amounts were small and this was a small group of people. BTC was down in the $250 range at that point, so I had lost 30-40% of my initial investment. This was of the $100 invested, so not that much in real terms, but huge in percentages. It also meant that I had to buy another $100 of BTC on Coinbase to send to this guy. A few months after I purchased my ETH, BTC had doubled and ETH had gone down to $0.50, halving the value of my ETH holdings. I was even on the first BTC purchase finally, but was now down 50% on the ETH I had bought.
The good news was that this made me start to look at things more seriously. Where I had skimmed white papers and gotten a superficial understanding of the technology before FOMO’ing, I started to act as an investor, not a speculator. Let me define how I see those two different types of activity:
So what has been my experience as an investor? After sitting out the rest of 2015 because I needed to understand the market better, I bought into ETH quite heavily, with my initial big purchases being in March-April of 2016. Those purchases were in the $11-$14 range. ETH, of course, dropped immediately to under $10, then came back and bounced around my purchase range for a while until December of 2016, when I purchased a lot more at around $8.
I also purchased my first ICO in August of 2016, HEAT. I bought 25ETH worth. Those tokens are now worth about half of their ICO price, so about 12.5ETH or $12500 instead of the $25000 they would be worth if I had just kept ETH. There are some other things with HEAT that mean I’ve done quite a bit better than those numbers would suggest, but the fact is that the single best thing I could have done is to hold ETH and not spend the effort/time/cost of working with HEAT. That holds true for about every top-25 token on the market when compared to ETH. It certainly holds true for the many, many tokens I tried to trade in Q1-Q2 of 2017. In almost every single case I would have done better and slept better had I just held ETH instead of trying to be smarter than Mr. Market.
But, I made money on all of them except one because the crypto market went up more in USD terms than any individual coin went down in ETH or BTC terms. This underlines something that I read somewhere and that I take to heart: A rising market makes everyone seem like a genius. A monkey throwing darts at a list of the top 100 cryptocurrencies last year would have doubled his money. Here’s a chart from September that shows 2017 year-to-date returns for the top 10 cryptocurrencies, and all of them went up a *lot* more between then and December. A monkey throwing darts at this list there would have quintupled his money.
When evaluating performance, then, you have to beat the monkey, and preferably you should try to beat a Wall Street monkey. I couldn’t, so I stopped trying around July 2017. My benchmark was the BLX, a DAA (Digital Asset Array – think fund like a Fidelity fund) created by ICONOMI. I wasn’t even close to beating the BLX returns, so I did several things.
  1. I went from holding about 25 different tokens to holding 10 now. More on that in a bit.
  2. I used those funds to buy ETH and BLX. ETH has done crazy-good since then and BLX has beaten BTC handily, although it hasn’t done as well as ETH.
  3. I used some of those funds to set up an arbitrage operation.
The arbitrage operation is why I kept the 11 tokens that I have now. All but a couple are used in an ETH/token pair for arbitrage, and each one of them except for one special case is part of BLX. Why did I do that? I did that because ICONOMI did a better job of picking long-term holds than I did, and in arbitrage the only speculative thing you must do is pick the pairs to trade. My pairs are (No particular order):
I also hold PLU, PLBT, and ART. These two are multi-year holds for me. I have not purchased BTC once since my initial $200, except for a few cases where BTC was the only way to go to/from an altcoin that didn’t trade against ETH yet. Right now I hold about the same 0.3BTC that I held after my first $100 purchase, so I don’t really count it.
Looking forward to this year, I am positioning myself as follows:
Looking at my notes, I have two other things that I wanted to work into this email that I didn’t get to, so here they are:
  1. Just like with free apps and other software, if you are getting something of value and you didn’t pay anything for it, you need to ask why this is. With apps, the phrase is “If you didn’t pay for the product, you are the product”, and this works for things such as pump groups, tips, and even technical analysis. Here’s how I see it.
    1. People don’t give tips on stocks or crypto that they don’t already own that stock or token. Why would they, since if they convince anyone to buy it, the price only goes up as a result, making it more expensive for them to buy in? Sure, you will have friends and family that may do this, but people in a crypto club, your local cryptocurrency meetup, or online are generally not your friends. They are there to make money, and if they can get you to help them make money, they will do it. Pump groups are the worst of these, and no matter how enticing it may look, stay as far away as possible from these scams. I even go so far as to report them when I see them advertise on FB or Twitter, because they are violating the terms of use.
    2. Technical analysis (TA) is something that has been argued about for longer than I’ve been alive, but I think that it falls into the same boat. In short, TA argues that there are patterns in trading that can be read and acted upon to signal when one must buy or sell. It has been used forever in the stock and foreign exchange markets, and people use it in crypto as well. Let’s break down these assumptions a bit.
i. First, if crypto were like the stock or forex markets we’d all be happy with 5-7% gains per year rather than easily seeing that in a day. For TA to work the same way in crypto as it does in stocks and foreign exchange, the signals would have to be *much* stronger and faster-reacting than they work in the traditional market, but people use them in exactly the same way.
ii. Another area where crypto is very different than the stock and forex markets centers around market efficiency theory. This theory says that markets are efficient and that the price reflects all the available information at any given time. This is why gold in New York is similar in price to gold in London or Shanghai, and why arbitrage margins are easily <0.1% in those markets compared to cryptoland where I can easily get 10x that. Crypto simply has too much speculation and not enough professional traders in it yet to operate as an efficient market. That fundamentally changes the way that the market behaves and should make any TA patterns from traditional markets irrelevant in crypto.
iii. There are services, both free and paid that claim to put out signals based on TA for when one should buy and sell. If you think for even a second that they are not front-running (Placing orders ahead of yours to profit.) you and the other people using the service, you’re naïve.
iv. Likewise, if you don’t think that there are people that have but together computerized systems to get ahead of people doing manual TA, you’re naïve. The guys that I have programming my arbitrage bots have offered to build me a TA bot and set up a service to sell signals once our position is taken. I said no, but I am sure that they will do it themselves or sell that to someone else. Basically they look at TA as a tip machine where when a certain pattern is seen, people act on that “tip”. They use software to see that “tip” faster and take a position on it so that when slower participants come in they either have to sell lower or buy higher than the TA bot did. Remember, if you are getting a tip for free, you’re the product. In TA I see a system when people are all acting on free preset “tips” and getting played by the more sophisticated market participants. Again, you have to beat that Wall Street monkey.
  1. If you still don’t agree that TA is bogus, think about it this way: If TA was real, Wall Street would have figured it out decades ago and we would have TA funds that would be beating the market. We don’t.
  2. If you still don’t agree that TA is bogus and that its real and well, proven, then you must think that all smart traders use them. Now follow that logic forward and think about what would happen if every smart trader pushing big money followed TA. The signals would only last for a split second and would then be overwhelmed by people acting on them, making them impossible to leverage. This is essentially what the efficient market theory postulates for all information, including TA.
OK, the one last item. Read this weekly newsletter – You can sign up at the bottom. It is free, so they’re selling something, right? 😉 From what I can tell, though, Evan is a straight-up guy who posts links and almost zero editorial comments.
Happy 2018.

Help! I believe that my husband is involved in a pyramid scheme. He strongly believes in the system and I see all the red flags . It’s causing us to fight because I’m not being supportive of his job and I’m coming off as selfish. I don’t know what to do.

I am currently the breadwinner at home , my husband is out of a job for this year . He has always played soccer and this is the first “job” he has taken up since soccer . He expressed frustration from being at home with no job, nothing to do and not being able to contribute financially . A person he knew told him about forex , that with $250 he could sign up and join the company . That fee would give him access to the learning webpage where there is videos that teach him how to trade , access to the chats among all the people signed up (in that chat they send forex signals that are bound to be a hit in which the member copies and paste and has a chance to trade successfully ) and he could start with some money in his account to start trading . Well after the initial $250 fee there is a $160/monthly to stay in the group and have access to the learning platform and some other perks . A way to avoid the $160 monthly fee is to sign up 3 people which each pay $250 to begin then 160/month to stay in the group . There is residual income you can earn based on how many people you sign up . My husband has been in the group for 3 weeks and I have invested over $600 dollars (the initial startup fee plus money to put into his forex account ) plus $350 on a used iMac so he can use for trading ....he has made no money from trading and has been focusing on recruiting to have the residual income come in . He has recruited 3 people so he will make $75 every 2 weeks , he is reaching close to 12 people now and will start making $300 every 2 weeks. I hear him on the phone and he explains how he has made so much money from forex trading and that encourages people to sign up . But the truth is he has made no money from trading , I have invested money in it and he will be making a residual income based on his recruiting of people . Because he got 3 people in the group he got his 160/month fee waived and turns out that they still removed him from the learning academy in the system because now that he is earning residual he needs to pay for it himself because the learning platform is for people who are not recruiting or haven’t reached the 3 people status . I feel frustrated because 1) I’m the only one working and we are investing money in a system that hasn’t given us anything back 2) he is lying to people saying he is making money from forex and that is a lie , he will be making money from the recruitments 3) I believe it’s a pyramid scheme and he is angry at me because it’s his new job and I’m not being supportive and I’m thinking negatively , he honestly believes that it is not a pyramid scheme ... I don’t know what to do , I don’t want to fight with him but I’m sharing my honest thoughts regarding the system and instead I’m coming off as a bad spouse for not being supportive of his new “job” ....... he is upset because I’m not telling my friends and people I know about the ‘ opportunity ‘so they can sign up , I told him I won’t do it because he is lying about income he is making and he says if he tells them he is making no money that no one will sign up and that later the residual income will come in and it will benefit our family and why am I against something he is doing that will benefit us ..... he says for me not to tell him anything regarding his forex anymore because I don’t understand it and that is why I’m against it ..., I’m a life insurance agent and just completed my one year anniversary with my company and he says that when I first started he recommended people he knew to me without him knowing about my job because he was being supportive and that I’m not doing the same for him ..... do you all think it’s a pyramid scheme ???? Am I wrong for not being supportive even though I believe it’s wrong ????? How do I keep the peace between us ????? His mind is set up that he will succeed in forex and no one can stop him ..... we are in complete disagreement ! Help !!!!!!!!!

ICOs and Cryptoassets are a Complete Scam, and Here's Why.

Please upvote so that knowledgeable people can address these issues
When someone purchases a stock during an IPO, they receive an asset associated with a bundle of rights that are recognized and enforceable by law. Such rights include the right to vote, the right to share in dividend distributions, the right to inspect company books, the right to sue D&Os for breach of fiduciary duties, various minority shareholder rights, owning a portion of the company, etc).
In contrast, when someone purchases a cryptoasset, they literally receive nothing but some bytes on their computer that are unaccompanied by any legal rights even remotely analogous to those associated with traditional investment vehicles such as stocks. This begs the question, then, why cryptoassets have any value at all aside from simple supply / demand economics (i.e., the existence or non-existence of greater fools). I understand cryptocurrency and why it is traded in pairs just like fiat is traded in pairs in the FOREX market. But aside from using crypto as a currency, why are non-currency cryptoassets worth anything?
For example, Ripple Labs created XRP. However, from a traditional investment viewpoint, potential returns come not from investing the cryptoasset XRP. Rather, potential returns come from investing in Ripple Labs as a company just as various venture capitalists and angel investors invested $93,600,000 in Ripple Labs during nine different funding rounds. These venture capitalists and angel investors have top priority when it comes receiving any sort of return on investment, so why would anyone invest in XRP other than the fact that they don't have enough money to get in as a venture capitalist or angel investor? How is investing in XRP instead of Ripple Labs any different that purchasing Big Mac hamburgers thinking that you are investing in the company that sells them, i.e., MacDonalds?
The closest I’ve seen to any sort of real answer to this question is that cryptoasset tokens are used as fuel or gas on various blockchain-based networks, which are purportedly required to disincentivize spammers from spamming the open and decentralized blockchain-based network. However, no large financial institution (or other business for that matter) will resort to a public and decentralized system (they will develop and use blockchain-based networks in-house and may even make them proprietary for their own firm). Moreover, financial institutions participating in a blockchain-based network already have an incentive not to spam the network, namely to keep transaction times as optimal as possible. Additionally, why would any business with significant assets purchase tokens, gas, fuel (or whatever you want to call it) to use an open and decentralized network when it could simply use the same blockchain technology to create its own blockchain-based network, which it could then use for free without the need to disincentivize spammers.
It is impossible to invest in a "project" or a "technology." Rather, you invest in COMPANIES working on projects or advancing technologies, and when they succeed, you are rewarded because revenues increase which result in companies having greater net income distributed as larger dividends, not to mention larger capital gains due to a greater demand to purchase the legally enforceable ownership stake in the business that you own. The entire cryptosphere is nothing more than some sort of sci-fi role playing game with "fuel" and "tokens" none of which have any legally enforceable rights to anything. You're all a bunch of suckers.
Edit: The worse part is that YOUR money is going to finance Venture Capitalists' projects who will then walk away with the legal rights to it all.

Finished my current project, just a simple crypto bot

I know what y'all thinking, scam. But hear me out. I've been an entrepreneur and full stack dev since 2006, started with Dreamweaver remember that? Have made my money now. So in December bought into bitcoin at 17K and quit at 13K to venture into alts. I have trading experience but did not day trade crypto. I hate trading as I'm too emo for that shit haha.
So fast forward a couple months ago and I thought I could increase my stack by trading these waves but didn't want to do it myself. Started looking into bots. Complicated and time consuming stuff, considering I have trading and programming experience. Crazy thought, let's do it myself. So fired up my Mac registered coinbakers.com after researching days to acquire a good domain name. I own a lot of domains but finding crypto related domains is hard, I tell you. Then again, I only use .coms for my businesses.
The most difficult and important part is de development of a strategy. I know you can make crazy returns in backtesting, but would perform very poor in real life. I choose lagging indicators, just Simple Moving Averages, to start with. I added Stochastics, RSI, TDI, volume, to spot patterns. I made sure I could grab the biggest jumps and from there start to minimize losing trades. It's been running with real money on a real exchange. My biggest tests were, can the bot NOT buy when the market is going down, can the bot buy when the market is going up, and are the buy and sell prices similar as in my backtests. To test the latter, once the bot bought into BTC, I just imported the latest data in the backtest and see the prices the backtest. Worked like a charm.
Past couple months was just a huge bear market, so I could only test this real life scenario. The bot moves slow and only does 1-2 trades a month, unlike some other bots that places hundreds of orders. It did this very well and it stayed out of the markets. But I still needed to test when the market was growing and if it would buy in and make a profit. It's cool it's staying out of the market to prevent losses but we need to make money too.
On 17th July at 14:00UTC it entered a position at the price of 5743 EUR. It sold the position July 30th at 18:00UTC for 6802.85 EUR. That's 18.45%! Okay I was convinced, how strange that may sound as it's my own thing. I received a trillion notifications because of a bug, but the overall strategy worked. The crazy thing was that I didn't interfere or had to look at charts. I just checked it sold and saw my balance being higher. You'd say well that's the whole point buddy, but too see your money increase like kinda magically is still a crazy. It's running along now nicely with a buffed up balance.
However, the entrepreneurial side in me started itching a while back. My goal was to create a "base" group of customers that would pay a monthly license fee. This would create a consistent recurring revenue besides the profits from the bot. Don't need many, just a nice base. Can I market and sell this? I mean how hard can it be to market something that makes other people money right? Well, not as easy at least as I imagined because my usual marketing channels I use for my companies banned crypto ads. Including reddit. So yeah we can talk about it but not promote it. I'm moving into alternative ways to promote, like speaking at meetups, looking for people who affiliate partners, etc.
So why doing all this? I can just load up my personal assets and use it myself. Which I already do but there's something in showing other people what everyone thinks it's impossible. And eventhough I don't think I add that much value when trading (stocks, forex, crypto), unlike my other started ventures, it does break the walhalla of truly passive income. Which I am very fascinated by.
Then again it's been running for less than two months, maybe I'm missing something. For now it seems to be working and I thought I'd share it with y'all. Enjoy and DYOR!

[X-Post from /r/CryptoCurrency] Please ELI5 Why Cryptoassets are Worth Anything? [WARNING: Critical Thinking Ahead]

Please ELI5 how non-currency cryptoassets (as opposed to the most privately-held companies that are creating them) are worth anything. Stated alternatively, please ELI5 how cryptoassets have been monetized and commoditized by the companies creating them. I think that understanding the answer to these questions could help many people on this sub, including myself. Thanks.
FUD Disclaimer: This post is not FUD. I truly believe that blockchain technology is undoubtedly changing businesses, business processes, and transactions in a very fundamental way. I just don’t understand why people are attributing value to digital cryptoassets instead of the companies that are creating these cryptoassets. Ripple Labs and XRP were used simply as an example. That’s all.

[CEO LETTER] MAY-28, 2018: CLICKGEM PROPOSAL

May 28th, 2018
Dear potential investors,
I'm Nguyen Nam Hai, C.E.O of ClickGem Project (ClickGem Inc – Belize), you can call me as Hai!
First of all, thanks for your interest in ClickGem Project, this is the honor of our development team!
Second, although you can find all information about ClickGem project on the internet, I still want to provide you a brief summary and explain which can help you to understand this project easily and fully: - ClickGem project is creating a new payment system which is much better than all current payment systems, include PayPal and other similar payment systems! We are focusing on developing a payment gateway (paygate) which can support to pay and receive payment with multiple different currencies (both cryptocurrencies and fiat money), it has a special feature for exchange currency instantly during transaction, through exchange floors (this is an important advantage because buyers can pay by any currency and they not need to match with currency which sellers want to receive, and always get the lowest exchange rates from the market) and very low fee. That is our core application! Then we will develop additional an ecosystem of applications and APIs to support that core application. We will also develop two-directions API for our paygate so it can integrate with other forex/cryptocurrency exchanges to increase liquidity and have more chances to find the lowest exchange rate when exchange currency for buyers/sellers when they using our paygate. - Another advantage of ClickGem paygate: at this time, not many merchants/sellers are ready to accept payments for their business by cryptocurrencies because of many reasons (tax declaration, risks of the exchange rate, risks of the liquidity, risks with the law - not many governments allow cryptocurrency business) while in fact have a lot of people owned cryptocurrencies want to use it as currencies for shopping, for payment... ClickGem paygate will support for cross-exchange between Fiat currency and cryptocurrency and it will be a solution to connect people owning cryptocurrency with all merchants/sellers around the world. - ClickGem is a project started from January 2018 that aims to create all tools and applications which will support and encourage people to use more cryptocurrencies in different fields of the real life instead of only trading them like stocks/currencies/commodities on exchanges floors on the internet. Until now, we achieved some points on our roadmap and launched some important working applications. Our development team are still improving those applications (add more features, improve processing speed and security, optimize user interface) and developing new applications to build ClickGem ecosystem. You can see our roadmap at here: https://www.clickgem.com/roadmap.html . You can also test our applications by register an account on the website! - ClickGem project also has its own cryptocurrency called ClickGem (CGM). Web wallet, full-node wallet for Linux and block explorer had been launched already. Full-node wallet for Windows and MacOS are estimated to be launched in next month (June 2018)! Because ClickGem project focuses solely on developing an ecosystem of applications which support for all cryptocurrencies, so the CGM cryptocurrency is simply forked from Litecoin open source. However, we think it is good enough to use as a cryptocurrency, no need any new additional features! - ClickGem project is a service provider and we will generate profits mainly from collect fees from people who used our tools and applications. We released our owned cryptocurrency to raise fund from the community to have more budget for ClickGem project development. ClickGem cryptocurrency has all the same function with other currencies which supported by our system. But our users will always get 50% discount on every fee when utilizing ClickGem cryptocurrency (cheaper fee than other currencies). Especially, some future applications in ClickGem ecosystem will only support for ClickGem cryptocurrency. People can also trade ClickGem cryptocurrency in many other public exchange floors. When ClickGem ecosystem is fully developed and present at all of its target markets, it will have a lot of users around the world. Needs of CGM cryptocurrency will increase a lot (because it has a lot of incentives compared to other cryptocurrencies which supported in ClickGem ecosystem) while its maximum supply is only 30 million, so its price will increase rapidly! - Until this time (May 2018), ClickGem website has very good ranking, over 60,000 registered users and over 22,000 followers on Telegram and still increasing day by day. - ClickGem is a young project but developer team is professional and high qualified but, above all, is very motivated in achieving predetermined goals.
If ClickGem project succeeded: - It will help all merchants/sellers have a better way to receive payment and have more buyers. - It will help all buyers have a new payment method which is more flexible and better than all old methods, easier for online shopping. - It will help all people who owning cryptocurrency can use their cryptocurrency to do more things than only trading it on exchange floors. - It will help many exchange floors (include Forex and cryptocurrency exchanges) have more buy orders and improve liquidity. - It will accelerate the implementation and application of global blockchain technology.
ClickGem project will be a global service like PayPal, Amazon, Alibaba or Aliexpress so it can access all markets in the world and its scalability is unlimited!
Our project will attend to ICORace event (www.icorace.ch) in Switzerland on June 6/7th. Have over 100 ICO applications sent to ICORace, but our project is on top 20 ICO projects which will enter semi-finals! That means our project is highly appreciated by the ICORace organizer. We will have a chance to present our project as a speaker to a lot of investors at there. This is a very good chance to attract people from ICORace event to our project!
Our project also attended to the 2nd Global Fintech & Blockchain China Expo 2018 at Shanghai (China) on last month (April 2018) and attended to the World BlockChain CryptoCurrency Summit Moscow 2018 (WBCSUMMIT MOSCOW 2018) in Russia on this month (May 2018). Our business idea is also highly appreciated by every people in both events! You can see our presence in both events at here: https://www.clickgem.com/updates-apr-12-2018-clickgem-team-… https://www.clickgem.com/updates-may-20-2018-meet-us-at-wor… https://www.clickgem.com/updates-may-19-2018-meet-us-at-wor…
Third, I want to tell you about my personal story and the reason of idea to start the ClickGem project: I'm a businessman and I have a small factory in Vietnam for producing hair extensions & wigs products (Company introduction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMHk0UyA05s). I have been running this business for about 10 years. Most of the products produced in my factory are exporting to many different countries (USA, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Portugal, UK, Hong Kong, Korea etc...). Within 10 years doing international business, one of biggest troubles for my business is receive payments from international clients because most of my clients don't want to pay directly to my company bank account because of the barrier of customs and import procedures, etc... To maintain business with those clients, I have to suggest them to: - Pay to my personal bank account >> It usually makes trouble to me for tax declaration. - Pay through personal money transfer companies like Western Union, MoneyGram, Unistream, etc... >> Can only receive small amounts, high fees. I still have trouble with tax declaration. - Pay through PayPal >> Many limitations and very high fee (PayPal transaction fee is 4.4% but the total amount I lose usually up to 12% because PayPal only allows merchants to withdraw money from the account by local currency and they always apply exchange rates which are very disadvantage for the merchant). I still have trouble with tax declaration - Pay by cash through brokers, pilots or flight attendants >> No trouble with tax declaration but can't transfer big amounts. High fee, and high risk! Because of limitation and barriers to receiving payment, I can't easy to expand my business. I know that not only I have this trouble, a lot of business people are having the same trouble! I never stop finding the better solution to solve problems with receive payment!
Until when I know about cryptocurrency which created using blockchain technology and strong communities are supporting the cryptocurrency, I strongly believe it can replace our current currencies in a future near. Cryptocurrency has a lot of advantages which compared to our current currencies. However, now is just the beginning of the era of cryptocurrency, we still have not many applications with enough features to support cryptocurrency to become our main currency.
I start thinking about ClickGem Project which can have all features combined from PayPal, CoinBase, Forex websites, cryptocurrency exchange websites, Amazon, Alibaba, Aliexpress, etc... which can support strongly for cryptocurrency and become a perfect system for payment and exchange currencies.
Currently, my team has not many people, but we can achieve many goals within a short time (about 5 months), although before that we haven't any preparation and even don't know many about blockchain technology. That can show our ability is not small and that ability will continue to multiply many times when we have more budget to recruit more talented people! I know that still have many difficulties in future and still need more time make ClickGem system become a perfect system, but I strongly believe that every difficulty will have the solution to solve (like the way I have been done with my current business from the zero) and I believe can make these ideas become real!
Other reasons make me strongly believe ClickGem project will be succeeded and it could become the big system like PayPal, Amazon, Alibaba, Aliexpress, etc… are: I believe that when we do anything if we don't believe in ourselves and what we are doing, we will never succeed. And what is easy come will easy go, only goals which are difficult to be achieved will create the real value! My team members owned a same great skill is we never give up and we will always search for solutions to solve all difficulties! I also know that because of the unstable situation of politic and economy are happening many places around the world, so many people start finding better currencies for daily transactions or hold as an asset instead of Fiat currency (cash, money at banks), gold or some things like that, this is also the main reason to make cryptocurrency become a very hot trend at this time! I believe that is the normal evolution and development of human society (in our history has witnessed many similar phases and events)! I have enough knowledge about IT field and doing business, I understand that to build systems like PayPal, Amazon, Alibaba or Aliexpress is not very difficult, I'm total can build similar systems but my systems even can support for both cryptocurrency and Fiat currency! Those companies only difference with me is they have a great opportunity to receive support from big funding companies and even government because all of them are established at the beginning of the era of the internet (For example: Alibaba has established from the beginning of the era of the internet in China, so they have opportunity to receive great support from big funding companies like SoftBank, etc... and the Chinese Government about resources, relationships, policies, etc...). The beginning of the era of the stock market is also similar to the beginning of the era of the internet, also generated many big names and many big companies. Current is the beginning of the era of the blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, I believe that we have the same opportunity with PayPal, Amazon, Alibaba or Aliexpress... Why not take this opportunity? My team only think and do, with all of our efforts and sincerity, I believe we can convince and get support from many investors to realize our dream!
I still have a lot of ideas to do with ClickGem project, however, my budget is limited and I can’t do everything alone! So, I always looking for more people who can join a hand with me, together to make this project succeed!
Would you like to join one hand with me?
I hope ClickGem project can meet your interest and opens the way for an interesting and profitable collaboration!
Thanks for spending your time to read my proposal and I hope you will spend more time to review ClickGem project!
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Best regards,
---

Please ELI5 Why Cryptoassets are Worth Anything? [WARNING: Critical Thinking Ahead]

These venture capitalists and angel investors have top priority when it comes receiving any sort of return on investment, so why would anyone invest in XRP other than the fact that they dont have enough money to get in as a venture capitalist or angel investor? How is investing in XRP instead of Ripple Labs any different that investing in Big Mac hamburgers instead of investing in the company that sells them, i.e., MacDonalds?
Looking for Beta Users for Groundbreaking P2P Swap Trading System, Maximum Leverage, Minimum Risk, All Markets

I'm looking for traders to take positions (either in agreement with, or contrary to) my research/opinion or using your own trade setups and fundamental/macro outlook - via our P2P swap platform. You can use actual capital or I can give you test capital, basically, play money, to trade with me and my team and all I ask for is feedback on the system and the ability to quote you (which is not mandatory, but it would be nice). You can trade stocks, bonds, commodities, forex and forex pairs long or short, or swap the exposures directly for another asset, ex. S&P 500 for the LSE 100, Apple for Google, etc. Fees start at 5 bp, the best available from anywhere. Digital leverage is available, up to 10,000x worth (double digit profits/losses can be had from 11 basis points in movement, or less - so be careful), with no possibility of a Margin Call since the trades are pre-funded. If you think the opportunity is worthwhile, feel free to contact us or see info sheet below for more...
Macro Trading Has a New Power Tool: Peer to Peer, Counterparty Risk-Free Swaps for Value Transfer & Trading
Trade the value of over 45,000 tickers of instruments in every asset class from every major geography and exchange with up to 10,000x pricing leverage without concerns of counterparty/credit/default risk or margin calls. Very big claims… substantiated by a very big discovery in value transfer and security.
Veritaseum is the worldwide leader in the financial implementation of “smart contracts” – unbreakable, self-executing bilateral agreements between two or more parties. We use these smart contracts to create peer to peer swaps for the transfer of value through the “blockchain,” a worldwide, open ledger of pseudonymous transactions that can be seen and audited by anyone, any time in the cloud. The blockchain is considered unhackable and one of the most secure implementations of cryptography to date.
With the use of financial “wallets”, client side applications that use a simple interface to guide users in the quick (as in minutes – enter ticker(s), amount to risk, collateral, expiry and leverage required) creation of a smart contract (in this case a P2P swap), users trade OTC directly with other parties – totally bypassing and intermediating exchanges, with even less risk. Monetary value is committed up front, a leverage factor is digitally dialed in (anywhere from 2x to 10,000x) and the smart contract is created and sent to the blockchain to await a match. Once matched, the funds are locked into the transaction until expiry, at which point profits and losses are distributed along with principal and unused collateral (the capital chosen to be put at risk). A novel, risk averse, extremely powerful, and quite frankly - ingenious way to trade macro strategies.
Not only can one go long or short any ticker in any asset class from any region for any currency, one can go long one ticker relative to another. For instance, those with a bearish outlook on the S&P 500 normally short it for USD. You can now short (pay) the S&P 500 index directly while going long (receiving) Eurozone equities (or 10 year treasury yields, or Swiss francs or the CNYJPY pair or bitocin), in a single transaction – with or out without leverage.
Since the exchange is peer to peer, we never hold or control any of your assets, hence you are not exposed to our balance sheet, credit, default or counterparty risks (the blockchain is your effective counterparty). Veritaseum is a software concern, not a financial concern or intermediary! You can always track your assets and trade through the blockchain at any time. The capital is loaded in the wallet in the form of bitcoin, and for those who choose to minimize exposure to bitcoin market price volatility, leverage can be used to nearly eliminate the noise. You can also conduct trades using a demo mode and test coins, so as to use the system without risking actual capital.

Smart Contracts as Transaction Vehicles: The Safest Possible Way To Exchange Value

Veritaseum's UltraCoin smart contracts are: 1. highly flexible - you design your own derivatives yourself using your own parameters via our simple graphical user interface 2. self-executing 3. autonomous 4. unbreachable: we call them, the unbreakable promise! They are backed, fortified and stored by/on the blockchain itself 5. uber-transparent: simple click the "trace transaction" button to find the location and historical travel path of your assets anytime, from anywhere you have an internet connection

Trading Through a Balance Sheet-Based Financial Institution vs. Distributed, Decentralized, P2P Software Concern

What I do want to accomplish is the education through the fact that the Bitcoin protocol has given rise to the genesis of a new type of company, with a new business model that can offer a totally new type of product. As you were able to see from above, Veritaseum's UltraCoin offers a very uniquer product with many if not all of the attributes that potential competitors offer, with a slew of attributes that others can't touch. This is done at 1/5th of the price and at much less risk! When dealing with Veritaseum's UltraCoin, you can never get Gox'd because we never have (nor do we want) possession of your coins or fiat - every, at any time. Because we don't user our balance sheet (we are a software company, not a centralized exchange or brokedealer) you:
This is just the beginning of what is capable with our Internet 2.0 business models.
I implore you to download our:
There's also a lot of BTC industry research available for download as well as our blog which has some of the best fundamental and macro research available on the web. Hardcore traders, investors and speculators should check out my latest piece: It's All Out War, Pt 3: Is the Danish Krone Peg to Euro More Fragile Than Glass Beads? The Danish National Bank Infers So!
Any individuals or entities looking to provide liquidity to the system, individuals/companies who wish to partner, accredited investors looking for a piece of the action (you have to be willing to sign and NDA, we are quite open to working with anybody), or those who simply want to shoot the breeze should feel free to contact us.

Do you think someone will buy my C++ source code of a backtest/trade system?

Hi all,
This is not an AD, but I'm asking your opinion whether someone may be interested in my system, or whehter it's worth that I do some work to find a buyer. This is a backtesting and trade system, not strategy.
Main functions and features: * Written in C++, using Qt framework. Can run on Windows, Linux, and Mac. * Console program, very fast. * Currently only support Forex, but it's easy to extend to support other markets, such as Stock. * Backtesting. Candle bar based backtesting. It's not difficult to support tick based backtesting. * Optimization. Currently only brute force is supported, but it's quite easy to plug in other methods. * Walkforward testing. * Multiple threading. OpenMp is used for multithreading, each backtesting task is allocated on a CPU core. * One robot can use multiple instruments and multiple time frames. * Live trading system. Currently Oanda REST API is implemented. One robot can place buy/sell order on different account, to avoid no-hedging limitation. I have used it on my live account, and it works well. * Any more trade platforms should be able to be integrated to the system, such as FIX, but I didnt do any investigation yet. * Some indicators are included. MA, RSI, MACD, PSAR, etc, using ta_lib. New indicators can be developed easily. * Dukascopy data download. Incremental download tick data from Dukascopy, very fast. * Oanda data download. Using Oanda REST API, incremental, very fast. * Simple charting. So the report contains a balance chart, very intuitive. * Some other features, such as convert Dukascopy tick data to internal candle binary data, convert candle data to MT4 CSV, etc. * Unit testing. Some key components are unit tested. * High quality code. I'm an experienced developer. You can check my code quality and style from my open source C++ library, cpgf, on github, though it's not finance related. * Very good performance. The bar based backtesting system is highly optimized. * Since the architecture is good, the system can be used as either a program or a library. * About 50K lines of C++ code. * I spent about one year partial time on it.
My question is, do you think anyone will be interested to buy my source code? And how much do you think I should charge for? Or beside selling the source code, what do you think I can do to earn some money via the system? My original purpose developing such a system is to use by myself, but I'm not sure when I can find a good strategy to earn some money for me.
Thanks

Bitcoin 1.0 vs 2.0 – or – A Comparison of Legacy Exchanges & Veritaseum's UltraCoin

Veritaseum is looking for liquidity providers to assist in kickstarting the world's first global P2P exchange. If you have a healthy stash of BTC, please contact us to discuss.
I was looking at the offerings of a large US bitcoin exchange just now, after hearing that Coinbase had the highest volume of any US-based broker just weeks after opening an exchange (we’ll discuss that at a different time, since Coinbase is waiving fees meaning those users are hot money, but likely are part of the largest installed bitcoin user base in the world and growing rapidly). What I found was illuminating, at least for me since I don’t follow the offerings of BTC brokers and exchanges that closely. I noticed several of the industry (BTC exchange) leaders offer leverage, plain vanilla swaps and TRS (total return swaps - basically fixed/variable rates in major fiat denominations for cryptocurrency (BTC. LTC, DRK) exposure). I said to myself, “Wow, that’s pretty advanced.” Then I looked at the fees, and saw the swaps were priced up to and past 15%. Then, upon further research, I realized that these swaps were financing mechanisms for margin lending. The first thing that came to mind was the difference, and limitations that come with the business models of first generation bitcoin companies and second generation Bitcoin companies. Take notice in the difference of the capitalization. Lower case "b" denotes the accounts of value that the mainstream media calls digital currency. Upper case "B" denotes the blockchain-based, protocol driven services and capabilities behind the lower case "b". Generation 1.0 v. generation 2.0!
To put this into perspective, Veritaseum's UltraCoin offers user programmable swaps (ie. you can make your own CDS, TRS or plain vanilla, or even a custom swap) with exposures to not just 3 cryptos and 3 or 4 fiat currencies, but all major and most exotic currency pairs (dozens) as well as over 45,000 tickers covering EVERY major asset class (stocks, bonds, forex & commodities as well as cryptos) from exchanges throughout the world. This is all capable at a sliding scale of 10 to 25 basis points, round trip. That's the equivalent of 5 bp to 12.5 bp per trade. In addition, all of this is done without UltraCoin having any possession of your funds, whatsoever. Veritaseum (the company behind UltraCoin) is a software concern, not a financial entity, thus you have no exposure to our balance sheet. We cannot MT. Gox you and you essentially have no counterparty, default or credit risk because your counterparty is the blockchain, and you trade peer to peer vs. through a centralized exchange. Pretty big difference from the legacy systems that we're all used to, no?

The Difference between Bitcoin 1.0 and Bitcoin 2.0 Companies

To begin with, I'd like to make clear that not only is the title misleading, but all references to the same are essentially inaccurate. Bitcoin itself is still in beta stage (0.9x) thus its not accurate to refer to 1st and 2nd generations of bitcoin businesses. If anything, we're all in beta. Now that I've gotten that off of my chest... The first bold generation of bitcoin entrepreneurs (it's amazing that you can refer to companies born 2 and 3 years ago as a previous generation, it just goes to show you how fast this space is moving!) built businesses based upon bitcoin as a legacy commodity. Basically, they bought, sold, transmitted or transferred it as a unit of value. They did this because that's how everything was done for the last several thousand years in the financial services industry. Basically, they had no choice - or so they thought. Then came those who read the Satoshi whitepaper and the bitcoin wiki and saw a very different meaning. My team and I are among those entrepreneurs. We saw that bitcoins were malleable, programmable, tools with which one can use to paint upon the canvas of value. A far cry from the moving of static financial widgets from place to place. Think of moving bitcoins around (bitcoin 1.0 companies) vs programming bitcoins to act on their own according to their contractual owner's wishes (bitcoin 2.0 companies) akin to pushing a model T Ford around town vs. programming your driverless electric Tesla to go by the grocery store to pick up some fresh produce before swinging by the school to pick up your kids on the way home to meet you to take your wife (girlfriend?) out to dinner.

A Real World Comparison of Bitcoin Companies

Tickers Available

Veritaseum's UltraCoin: ~45,000+
Asset Classes Available
Veritaseum's UltraCoin: Stocks, Bonds, Commodities, Forex, Cryptos and many indices
Costs Veritaseum's UltraCoin: up to 25 bp round trip for all products (primarily smart contract swap driven)
Leverage available: Veritaseum's UltraCoin: up to 10,000x, with finite digital P/L parameters (no margin calls, no negative account drawdowns)
How does Veritaseum do it? We program the bitcoin to act according to a mutual agreement between two or more parties, then send it to the blockchain to act accordingly. These agreements are self executing, unbreakable promises known as "Smart Contracts". In this case, they are highly customizable, P2P OTC swaps, but we are working on a multitude of other products, services and solutions as well. We also supply very high level, unconflicted, independent and impartial strategy and research for our customers. Since we don't use our balance sheet and we don't act as a principal, we have no incentive to skewer the research in any particular direction.

Smart Contracts as Transaction Vehicles: The Safest Possible Way To Exchange Value

Veritaseum's UltraCoin BTC-based smart contracts are: 1. highly flexible - you design your own derivatives yourself using your own parameters via our simple graphical user interface 2. self-executing 3. autonomous 4. unbreachable: we call them, the unbreakable promise! They are backed, fortified and stored by/on the Bitcoin blockchain itself 5. uber-transparent: simple click the "trace transaction" button to find the location and historical travel path of your assets anytime, from anywhere you have an internet connection

This is done at 1/150th of the price and at much less risk! When dealing with Veritaseum's UltraCoin, you can never get Gox'd because we never have (nor do we want) possession of your coins or fiat - every, at any time. Because we don't user our balance sheet (we are a software company, not a centralized exchange or brokedealer) you:
This is just the beginning of what is capable with bitcoin (and this is pure bitcoin, not altcoins, no tokens, no sidechains, just pure, old fashioned [at least as old as it can be considered] bitcoin) and 2.0 business models. Wait until you see the new stuff we'll be rolling out.
Any bitcoin-rich individuals or entities looking to provide liquidity to the system, individuals/compamies who wish to partner, accredited investors looking for a piece of the action (you have to be willing to sign and NDA, we are quite open to working with anybody), or those who simply want to shoot the breeze should feel free to contact us.

I'm using Mac OS X Lion (10.7.1 to be exact) and I have not experienced the crashing issue. In fact, Think has crashed on me a total of only 3 times since when I started using it, which was about 3-4 years ago. I have no idea why it works for me but not for others. All I can say is I think that it's worth giving a try to see if it'll work. (1) Dr-Girlfriend. 28 May 2010. Version: 1.3. This app ...
